Seems TWC updated the bar that used to appear for Local on the 8s and everything else but IMO the previous one was better.

Nice Changes To The Intellistar!

As Mpls gets its first line of thunderstorms of the year, I turned on TWC and was delighted to see some nice improvements to the IntelliSTAR today!

MUCH EASIER TO COMPREHEND ICONS! Thank you! The other ones looked nice but you could hardly distinguish between fog, rain and snow - nor distinguish between different intensities of precip.

The lower display ticker looks awesome! It's great to see some color in it besides blue! The yellow/orange makes for a nice contrast. Its also cool to see the icons are now animated in the lower display ticker.

Great work STAR team!

In the morning hours of March 10, my DirecTV LF was not displaying ANY weather info. So, I took a snapshot of the background.

Different Emphasis Of Instruments

I have noticed that sometimes when I listen to tunes posted on YouTube, etc.,
and compare them to TWC here on my cable system, sometimes the emphasis seems to
be on different instruments. The tune is the same, but, for example, sometimes parts
that are in the background on some of the posted sites are in the foreground on TWC on my
cable system.

Does anyone else notice this? I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks in advance.

Expansion Of Songs

I haven't really watched TWC in...well, a while, and even longer since I had seen a local forecast until the other day. I was disturbed at some song on there with actual singing in it. When did this start? Is nothing sacred? It's days like this I wonder why I even pay for cable...
