Is the loss of the LDL temporary? I would hope so because it could have a great effect on severe weather warning scroll on the XL.

I just noticed today a change in the graphics layout which on my WeatherStar XL has no LDL during the national segments. Instead the bottom portion has a scroll of select city forecasts, much like something you would see on either directv or dish network.

It's likely that the LDL of the XL will no longer cue now that the new LDL is there.

Well, if that's the case, how will the severe weather warnings be dislayed?
I understand adding new looks and all but they need to also update the XL to adapt to the new layout.

I do believe that they will never rid of the advisory crawls. That's plain stupid IMO.

Trust me this is true. The XL is getting all the commands to generate and even end the ldl, its just not getting the one to display it. The time of the XL ldl is over.
